I despise the word hobbies. It makes them sound trivial. I think that what you do in your spare time is more important than what you do 8 to 5 (or 9 to 6 or whatever). So, you say, what do you do then? If it is artistic in nature, I've probably tried it with varying degrees of success. I like all the typical things- theatre, reading (Some favorite authors: Tom Robbins, Shakespeare, Samuel Beckett, Tennessee Williams, Lewis Carroll... too many to list. I'll read anything including the side of the cereal box if there's nothing else available.), dancing, music (I'll listen to just about anything once. Tend to fall on the alternative side. And I love 80s retro.), movies (Some favorite movies: The Last Unicorn, Shakespeare in Love, The Jerk, Joe Vs. The Volcano, Pi, The Cube). Did I mention dancing?
If I knew that I could really be out searching. To quote Sondheim's musical Into The Woods, "But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?"
