About Me

In utmost certainty, I always look at the brighter side of things no matter what thus explains the constant smile that you see on my face. Being with my friends just to hang out and lounge around takes up most of my free time. I like making them cry because of laughter. I love to cook and bake, and spend time with my niece and nephews on the weekends. I'm one hell of a drinker and I'm not ashamed of it being a fact about me. If the right person comes along, movie marathons are a definite necessity as well as long drives even without having a particular destination in mind.

My Interests

Exploring new cuisines, experimental cooking and baking (what the heck, anything you find in the pantry can be turned into something!), conversations over coffee, getting to know someone new, karaoke!, taking long walks to clear my head.

I'd like to meet:

Ming Tsai (he's totally cute!), Wolfgang Puck, Marcel from Top Chef Season 2 (he was a total a**hole on the show, I wanna give him kudos for his performance coz it made it more interesting to watch), fellow food enthusiasts and critics, someone who will compliment me, make me laugh, make my heart skip a beat and be able to handle my goofiness and uncontrollable endless laughter that could be hard to contain sometimes.

Music:

Classic OPM (they will never be out dated), R&B, Top 40's, Hip Hop.

Movies:

A Walk to Remember, 50 First Dates, Serendipity, Titanic, The Prestige, Forrest Gump, Never Been Kissed, Pretty Woman, Unfaithful, Jerry Maguire, Meet Joe Black, Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail.

Television:

Desperate Housewives, TLC, Amazing Race, Grey's Anatomy, Friends (even the re-runs are great to watch again), Sex and the City, Top Chef, Food Network shows.

Books:

One Hundred Years of Solitude (I'll eventually finish it), The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons.

Heroes:

My dad for giving us everything we ever needed, my mom for being always cool, my ate for rescuing me during my messed up moments and my kuya for taking over the responsibility of being the "dad" and sending me to school.

Looking back...

It's my birthday today...usually when this time of year comes around, I get all mushy and look back on my life. 28 years...damn that's a lot of re-assessing... Aside from the occassional heartbreaks a...
