Books are my friends. They also keep me employed. And they're good in bed. Actually, the first book to make an impression on me was Alice's Adventures in Wonderland which fell from my sister's dresser. Upon my return to conciousness, I took a gander. I couldn't read yet, but I remember being struck by the drawing of the mouse swimming in a pool of tears. And after a trip to the emergency room, I examined it at my leisure--I admired the way it managed to keep its head above water.
