No One Puts Baby In A Corner!

About Me

An anthology of zip codes, area codes and student ID numbers contributes greatly to the person that I am today. I possess a nomadic instinct that tells me when it's time to move on. My tolerance for stupidity, narcissism and bigotry is very low. People who don't follow through on their word make me crazy. I am constantly trying to determine the motivations of people's behaviors. My reclusive tendencies are often a mystery to some who know me - when I reach "people-overload", an entire day with no human contact is a much cherished event. I am addicted to crossword puzzles, Scrabble, Sudoku, online IQ tests and mybraintrainer.com. Settling in with a cheap bottle of wine, carry-out Thai and a good movie makes for a fabulous rainy evening. I like to fall asleep reading with the radio on NPR. I believe that the fast food industry is at the root of the majority of the problems of Western society. My name appears on petitions in support of; protecting the environment, national health care, access to birth control, funding for education, wildlife preservation, civil rights protection, repealing the patriot act, impeaching the little shrub, an expeditious end to the Iraq occupation, holding government officials accountable for their actions and upholding Roe v. Wade. Wearing socks with sandals is never acceptable. A twenty-something that wears only a camisole, a miniskirt and strappy sandals (not a coat) when it's 35 degrees and raining, deserves to the head cold she will, inevitably, contract - I appreciate fine couture, but refuse to suffer for fashion.
