About Me

Kat's Manifesto My main objective when joining myspace was to reconnect with old friends, and that has been hugely successful. The majority of the people whom I've added as friends, are actually people I know, the rest are friends of friends and a few new friends that I have met on myspace.
As far as the bands go, a huge majority of them are my friends' bands, and the rest are bands that I like and a few new bands that I've been exposed to through myspace.
With all that being said, I would like to make myself very clear when I say this to those who might want to do a "friend request" - if you are a "chick collector" (and I will go to your page and check), please DO NOT bother doing a request!; I am not that kind of "chick" and it is obvious that I am not that kind of chick. And if we have absolutely nothing in common, please do not do a request; what would be the point?
Please understand that I am not trying to be an elitist, it's just that the "number" of friends I have is not that important to me. I care more about the quality of my friendships, not the quantity. So people/bands, please do not take anything personally if I do not add you.

My Interests

Working with all mediums of art (mixed-media is my favorite, especially when it involves wood, found objects, and collage - ala Joseph Cornell); "functional art"; making jewelry; computers; reading; dressing up in costume, listening to and seeing music performed live; outdoor activities in most forms - especially snowboarding (pure bliss); used to skateboard (still own one, but since I don't really drink that much anymore, the fear of pain has kept me from riding lately - sad, I know!)...
