"YOUNG SKILLZ" aka , legally born JOSHUA LAMAR DENNIS was in my opinion and the opinion of many others born to be heard. Raised for much of his life in Corpus Christi, Tx music was not just a part of his life, it was life to him. When asked, family and friends say his GOD GIVEN talent was apparent at a (((young))) age, his impecable (((skills))) was that of which couldnt be ignored and as a result wasnt taken lightly. With a "shall we say" less than perfect childhood and Skillz always wanting more, he was determined to make his dream a reality. At a young age he began hustling the streets for survival in hopes of one day assembling his musical empire from the ground up. Seduced by a dream into a world of drugs, gangs, and endless violence, this close to home mafia lifestyle gives the young rapper a reality far to real for most, but in my eyes helps his true story vibe, most rappers couldnt begin to get a handle on. He became the DEVILS right hand man, its as if he made a deal with the DEVIL, but in all honesty I believe the DEVIL made a deal with him. He is the assasin and music is his weapon of choice. With the righteous words only an ANGEL could spit, this feirce eye-opener is truly a mystery to me. Through the encounters that i have had with him the same question resounds in my head "is he a SINNER or is he a SAINT"? Is it possible to have Horns and Wings? My answer still remains the same for this 'Street Scholar', if I know nothing else of him, it is that HEAVEN and HELL have truly met there match. Nostradamus himself couldnt have predicted the effect this up and coming rapper will have on the music industry. With the elequence of Martin Luther King, his audacious rhymes and hypnotizing flo, this 'Lyrical Mastermind' is here to bring truth back to the rap-game. They say real recognize real, so all you haters out there need to take a good look at yourselfs if you aint feeling this. comparisons arent necessary, because, "Young Skillz" truly is in a ((("LEAGUE OF HIS OWN"))).
