About Me

Four teens from Perth with rock and roll heritage who like it loud.
THE FLAIRZ brand of no nonsense, original rock'n'roll music has already gained them fervent fans in Australia where they've cut their teeth in the live music scene by supporting the likes of Little Birdy, The Waifs, Dallas Crane, The Stems, Shihad, Ben Kweller and The Living End. The Flairz have also enthused audiences of thousands of music audiences around Australia playing at the 2005 Big Day Out, The St Kilda Festival, Sydney's Come Together Festival, Bass In The Grass Festival, Southbound 2007, The Great Eacape festival, perth's famous Rock-It Festival and The 2007 Bon Scott Tribute concert along side bands such as The Angels, Rose Tattoo, The Screaming Jets and more as well as playing the SXSW festival in Austin Texas 2006 which gained them many fans there as well.
THE FLAIRZ released their independent debut EP on November 15, 2004. The self-titled four track rock'n'roll excursion showcases the bands remarkable original song-writing abilities, musical upbringing and energy driven performances. The Flairz were the recipient of the Western Australian Song Of The Year-Primary Section for their song 'Sidewalk Surfer' in 2004 which is also part of the EP Rock 'n' Roll ain't Evil. The Flairz filmclip for 'Rock and Roll Ain't Evil' was released in May 2005 and featured on RAGE and Video Hits were it was a 'Hit Prediction'. The lead track from the EP, had already been added to the play list and was voted as the coolest rock track in the world today on Little Steven's (Steven Van Zandt) syndicated underground garage rock show which airs to two million American listeners each week.

The track has also been added to New Zealand's top rating radio station Channel Z and the Flairz are receiving airplay on Triple J, FBI radio Sydney, and RTRfm 92.1 in Perth made 'Rock and Roll Ain't Evil' the record of the week.The Flairz then released their second rock'n EP 'BULLSEYE' at their major headlining event in Perth, Fremantle The Garage Kids Rock Festival in 2007. the track BULLSEYE got great air play on radio stations around Perth and Australia. The filmclip BULLSEYE to go along with the release of their second EP also got great air play around Australia on TV programs such as JTV, Video Hits and Rage.
The Flairz are egar and ready to keep on rockn' so you can expect a lot more action from this band, they've already amassed a swag of new songs and their FIRST ALBUM IS SET TO BE RELEASED IN MAY!!!
