Burke is hard at work on releasing his very first CD entitled "remnants" for all of those eager ears that are hungry for his unique and powerful sound. Born and raised in Niles, Ohio, this one man army of uber, explosive talent records using a Tascam 2488/Line 6 Guitar and Amp/Kurzweil digital piano/Shure microphones/Wavelab 5 Mastering Software to accomplish this...all located above the garage in his studio in the home he shares with his girlfriend/agent, Elayne, and her son, Jake. They hope to have "remnants" completed by Spring of 2006, which will then be for sale on burke's official website: www.burkesmusic.com (as of now in "under-construction-mode" by aforementioned girlfriend and himself).
Quote from burke: "This is about capturing what has been in my head for quite some time...being a singer/songwriter is not about having control but more or less focusing on the music and not the musicians. I perform the piano, drums, bass, guitar, lead vocals as well as backup vocals. My life has always had a soundtrack but now i'm finally finding the words to share my past experiences. Burke is currently a "highly recommended" featured artist on New Artist Headquarters(NAHQ) . His songs have also been chosen for regular play on various internet radio stations including The West Coast Show out of Vancouver, 9meters of Sound , The Home Made Hit Show, as well as an ever-growing list of stations on Soundclick .His most recently released single, "Girl" has been described by fellow musicians as: "Kinda like [red hot] chili peppers and just as hot." Some other noteworthy comments that were inspired by "Girl": "I'm destroyed in the moment by this song. So perfect. Good lyric that stays together. There is so much honor in these words I feel humbled. The whole realization of the concept is perfectly coveyed in this bare and honest work."
