The ultimate thing I want to accomplish in life is to more and more reflect the Light that I have found in JESUS CHRIST. I believe that it is indeed the highest achievable and most valuable thing on this planet to know Him personally and live in relationship with Him as definite and passionate as you can. He is the very reason I'm living for.
Speaking about passions we all pursue in life brings me to my love for music and especially hard music. Since the days I got my first tapes as a young kid that love has grown steadily and as it happens become more than just a part of my life. In fact I listen to, think about or write about music almost all day long. I guess you can say music means more to me than just "something".
I like hard music very much, but do also enjoy a good range of other selected styles. Over the years I've managed to build a quite nice record collection where you will also find some Bob Marley, some U2, some Johnny Cash, selected HipHop, alot of Rock, and occassionaly even some Pop.
At a certain point I wanted to become more active musically, so I joined my friends' band Pistis In Him Alone in 2003 (Pistis being Greek, standing for "faithfulness"). I jumped in as second vocalist and was happy to be a part. After three great years, though, we decided to dissolve in 2006 and put out our final DIY release called "Darkness Only Is The Absence Of Light", which can be downloaded for free including all the artwork! Our music was described as "Emotional metalcore kisses hardcore fury with a warm embrace".
Right now I'm managing a website called BandsOnFire.com , which is about Christ-centered Hardcore, Metal, Emo, Punk, Alternative etc. Some other websites I did before - which are not active anymore - were ' BlindsideRock.de - The Invert Moves ' (for the band Blindside) and ' German-Warriors.com ' (for the band P.O.D.). Both sites were highly frequented during P.O.D.'s and Blindside's commercial releases, "Satellite" resp. "Silence", and beyond!
Now, before you browse around, I wanted to let you know about a verse from the Bible that I might call my favorite one...it's from John 4:23:
"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks." Such a man of worship is basically all I reach out to be.
I wholeheartly believe there's nothing in this world that satisfies more than breathing the same air that God is breathing...Let us rise above this seemingly hopeless endeavour called life and seek to find!
