Curfew was founded in november 2003. The main purpose in those days was to form a rock/metal band with their own songs.
They played their first gig on 2nd April in a local youth club. In november 2004 they recorded their first demo in a home studio of a befriended band.
Thanks to this demo they were selected for a Demorock contest of KATHO highschool in Kortrijk on 24th February 2005. They won the contest and gained a weekend of studio time.
This new demo brought a lot of gigs in local youth clubs and rock rallies and on local festivals in the Belgian province of West-Flanders.
In the first half of 2007 they stopped appearing on stage to regain forces. They chose a new drummer and changed their style. Curfew became harder, stronger and more aggressive.
In the meantime they recorded a new “do it yourself†demo to give mankind an idea of how Curfew is now sounding. The quality is that good, but that will be the next step.
They started doing gigs again and the reactions are very positive. November 2007 brought our first gig in Germany.
Curfew is now writing new songs (between the various gigs) and hope to record a MCD of excellent quality in a professional studio very soon.
So Curfew is back: heavier, faster, more melodious and FULL OF ENERGY!!!
