NinLil in Cuneiform, Sumerian, thanks to Ninkurra, mother/sister......My name is Jan, but my public craft name is NinLil. The name is derived from the Sumerian Goddess of the Wind, NinLil. She is my patron Goddess. I enjoy meeting new people and if you have a sense of humor you have my attention! I also enjoy people who are different and interesting! I thrive on energy, mine and eveyone else's energy, so send me lots of it! My heritage is Serbish, Native American (Cherokee), and Irish. My grandfather was born in Belgrade, Serbia. I have never had the opportunity to travel there, but intend to before I die! I have relatives there whom I have never met.
I am Pagan, I follow an earth based religion, Wicca. I am presently a Solitary witch, having studied the Celtic Path which I currently embrace, but I also study the Sumerian ways.
I am often confused and feel totally dysfunctional, but that passes soon! lol Aries being my birthsign, Taurus rising, and fire, my element, I can be very aggressive and passionate! And will occasionally shoot flames out of my mouth if pissed off enough!
I am divorced, have two sons, my youngest is a drummer in a local rock/metal band, a grand daughter and a grandson, and I love magick! I do fire scrying and read Tarot cards. I enjoy going to Ren Festivals, and many Pagan fests, especially Samhain and Beltane, and local festivals of various themes. I hang out with people of different spiritual paths, ages and sexual orientation, am open minded and don't bash other religions.
To me, age is just a number, it is what's in your heart and your head that counts. If you have an open mind and open heart, you will stay young! I believe in reincarnation, and the Summerland, a resting place before my next life.
Music has always been a big part of my life, especially with having a son who is a drummer! I love Harleys, I ride with friends, go to concerts, camping, really fun bars, I sketch, paint, and took a class on making Meade, honey wine! I love to write, and write lots of things, short stories, erotica, poetry.....sometimes just whatever happens to come into my head. I am a freelance writer, I also do photography. I belong to a great group that is on line called Pagan_Outlook.
I spend time with my friends and family and I love to travel. I have been to 26 states so far, having visited the East Coast recently.
Not much really bothers me, except people who cause me negativity and discontent. 'Do what you will and harm ye none'! I have no room in my life for anyone who cannot see that we all exist here, and no one is better, or smarter, more beautiful, or more Pagan.
I am very connected with nature and the Universe. To me there is nothing more beautiful than seeing the first blooms of Spring, standing in the light of the full moon on a summer night or waking up in winter to the first snowfall. These are all gifts and we should be thankful for the beauty that is all around us.
