We are all of us in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.....

About Me

My friends already know most there is to know, but here goes. I'm 39, a bit quirky, a bit insane, love my life, my work, and my friends. I was lucky enough to meet my soulmate and marry him. I lost him on July 7, 2002, and still miss him every day. I have a big family in Tennessee and friends all over the world. I adore my dog Ajax, adventures, working out, going to the beach, cooking, travelling, music, movies, writing, reading and most everything that doesn't involve sitting still (unless I'm reading or writing, which I like to do on a plane or a cruise!) I have my own rules (the world according to Wendy), my own expressions (southern girls do!) and a big heart. I am honest, straightforward, and live consciously every day. Psychology fascinates me, and hopefully I will soon have my own practice. I have a Bachelor's in Human Behavior, and I'm halfway through my Masters in Psychology. I will be getting my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) after that, then sitting for the licensing exam, and soon, so very soon, I will be Dr. Cherry! I work in the field, so I am fortunate to love what I do.

My Interests

Issues of the mind, matters of the heart, songwriting, poetry, reading, travel, dancing, music, movies that aren't crap, drums, rollerskating, skateboarding, baseball (Go Angels!), nature, beach, etc. etc.
