i write poetry; but not in the sense of the dramatic monologue,uncarefully written by a teenage fool, who in himself feels he has been by the muse possessed; nor in the sense of that experimental free verse, whose very heart is at the spacing of the lines and subtle meaning, which oftentimes is lacking in the whole. I find myself striving to follow in the footsteps of the greater poets of olden times, and i long to take 'a cool vessel of transparent juice', and drink myself until the arrival of a muse-- whoever she may be.
