PHAT BULA RECORDS is located in Pana'ewa on the Big Island of Hawaii, specializing in audio production, mixing, mastering, and artist production and development. PHAT BULA RECORDS is proud to present its first full length album "REBORN," by Damon Williams, who is also the Founder and President of PHAT BULA. Damon Williams is from the island of Maui. He began singing at a very young age. Damon was the 1995 grand prize winner of Brown Bags to Stardom and the 1996 winner of Oceanic Cables Road to Fame competiton. He released his first solo album, "Love is all," in 1997 co-produced by one of Hawaii's top entertainers Keali'i Reichel. In 2001 his sophomore album, "On the Island," was released and produced by another one of Hawaii's top entertainers, Fiji. This album instantly made Damon Williams an island favorite. On December 27, 2005 "REBORN" was released. Damon not only wrote 6 of the 13 songs, but produced, recorded, mixed and mastered this album with the help of Raymond Valles of Digital One Studio in Los Angeles. This album also features some of Hawaii's top musicians and entertainers. Lukela Keala of "Ekolu" joins Damon once again, this time on a Bob Marley classic, "Hurting Inside." "Mad Max" Rabosea and Garren Poli'ahu add their one-of-a-kine Drum grooves to some tracks while Jeff Rasmussen and Lloyd Longakit makes it all solid with their signature electric and acoustic guitar licks. Ryan Hiraoka of RSP (Rubbah Slippah Productions) a Big Island artist soon to be making his mark on the industry co-wrote "Its True." Ryan Hiraoka is the composer of "Sweet Hawaiian Girl," a song that is already in heavy rotation on KWXX FM 94.7 & KPOA 100.3. Q103.7 on Maui is jammin' "Love Session" a song that is guaranteed to put you in the mood for Love! "REBORN" is currently number 4 on www.booklines.com WHAT'S HOT LIST and has been at number 1 on KWXX Top 10 albums for the month of January.
