Leave Luck to Heaven

About Me

Ive been producing Drum&Bass for more than ten years. Back when I started out, the first sampler I could afford was an Akai S900 with a maximum sample time of less than 12 seconds. Feels like coming from the stone age of studio technology...

I actually studied a real instrument at the conservatory in Frankfurt and later on enrolled at the American Institute of Music in Vienna, where I took courses in Jazz Harmony, Indian Rhythm and Ear Training. After I heard what guys like DJ Premier or Pete Rock were doing with loops of my favorite Jazz records, I wanted to figure out how a sampler works.

I fell in love with Drum&Bass straight away when I heard it for the first time, and we've been having a serious relationship ever since. I could never cheat since I'm such a lousy liar!
