About Me

At this point in my life you could consider me a nomad as I have no place that I can really call my own and don't plan on settling down anytime soon. I am a graduate of Colorado State University where I spent somewhere in the range of seven great, fun filled years. I did to everyone’s surprise graduate with a double major in Soil and Crop Sciences and Ag Business Management. I have many things that I enjoy in life but only a true few passions. My first would be my love of agriculture. It is this that has shaped me into what I am today. In a move that surprised no one, I headed back home to farm after I graduated. Farming is my life and I hope to do it till the day I die. Most don't understand it, nor will they ever, what it means to be a farmer. I am country and proud of it. Also, "Mmmm...FFA." If you don't get it, don't worry. I have also been known to be a little bit crazy and drink on occasion. Ok, so maybe it is more than a little bit and I consume my fair share and will most likely engage in something outright stupid even when I know it is just plain stupid. I love to go out and have a good time with friends even when I know I shouldn't. I hold my friends close and would do almost anything for them. I think "South Park" is one of the greatest shows ever created and if you don't like it, you’re gay and afraid of society. I speak my mind and love to have discussions. I am blunt and don't sugarcoat my words. You may think me un-P.C. or rash but that is just a complement. I hate beating around the bush. Just recently I was apart of our legislative process. Through this experience I learned more in a week than I think I would have with a PoliSci degree. Public policy and legislation fascinate me. I have to say that this might be up there as another passion in my life. I also love to travel. I have taken many a random road trip at the drop of a hat or at least a short phone call. Until just recently it had been mainly road trips around the states. In April I had my first chance to go across the ocean and I can't wait to go back. So, that is me in a nutshell or at least on a webpage.
