About Me

Alrighty....Ummmm....Where do I begin? For those of u who don't know me, my name is Vicente. But my friends call me Vincent, Vince, Vinny, Vin, V, Superman, Ampeg, Bass, Bassfingerz, Teddy, and Tank. Pick one :P I'm a laid back and down to Earth guy. Dominican, but was born and raised in NYC. I don't do any drugs of any sort. Never have and never will. But....Music & Art are my drug!!!! I play guitar, bass, and drums. Been dealing with music for Many years now. My main interest is bass, but I still love rippin' it on guitar and groovin' on the drums. My music repertoire is Classical music, Classic Rock, Heavy Metal from the 60's through the early 90's, Progressive Rock/Metal, Blues, Funk, Jazz, Motown, Old School Latin Music, Old School Rap, and for the past couple of years I've really been gettin' into this genre called Hardcore. Uhhh....Lets see. Ah yes....I'm pretty easy to talk to. I'm known to be the one my friends come to talk to when something is bothering them. I cheer em up and put a smile on their face. Ummm....Well I can't think of anything else to say. Have any questions? U're welcome to message me, and/or add me. Oh and Btw....Make sure to check out My Videos Section.

I'd like to meet:

Well I've actually been here since Myspace 1st started. Joined as a favor to a friend, cause she didn't want to be on here alone when she 1st joined. I then realized it was a great place where u could actually catch up with good old friends, as well as meet new good ones of course, which I have. So Yeah....It'd be great to catch up with old friends from back in the day. But I also just like to meet new people. Especially those who have Awesome musical taste. Always great to meet other fellow musicians as well. Especially female musicians. I have to give em major props. A lot of people think girls can't rock out....But that's so not true. If none of u r musicians, it's not a prob at all of course. I'd also love to meet all my music heroes :D One of them would be....Well he's not with us anymore, but I would have loved to have met Cliff Lee Burton. He's one of the main reasons why I picked up a bass in the 1st place.

If u're a musician or just really into music, especially Jazz, and u're into Mystery books, u'll love Bill's book. I've just started reading a series by Jim Butcher, called "The Dresden Files". I'm only on book one, but it's really interesting. There's a series out now on the SciFi channel. But that's not why I'm reading them. My sis got me into them before the show even came out.

Heroes:

I guess I can pretty much say my heroes r all the musicians who have ever inspired me musically and mentally. That's including my Father, John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), Cliff Lee Burton (Metallica), and of course my H.S Music Teacher, Mr. Albert Bouchard. Co-Founder/Original Drummer of "Blue Oyster Cult". This man is a great friend and has been a great mentor.
