I'm Jen. I'm 16 years old, very lovable and very loving. I love my friends dearly, and I love Cali more than anything. I am a lesbian, but I do not hate men. I like boys (as friends), in fact my best friend besides Cali is Tad. He's the freaky guy on my top 8. He's really quite sweet once you get to know him. I'm a vegetarian & I love gay boys and trans people. Musicals are the best!! I LOVE TO SING!! Any one of my friends can attest to the fact that there is rarely a moment when I am not singing. I like anime alot, but I have trouble keeping up with any show/ series that goes on for a while, unless I'm madly in love with it (like Gilmore Girls). I've even stopped watching that religiously. If you want to talk to me about pretty much anything but music you're gonna have to make sure I'm cought up first. I'm pretty friendly but not too friendly (if you know what I mean). Don't even try if you're interested in 'meeting me' or cybering. The answer is NO. Love all things dark & beautiful, and light and beautiful. I am in love with all things beatiful. I would love to be on Broadway, but I can't dance. :( If I think your myspace is pretty then I'm bound to contact you. I also love all things art. I'm not very strong, but I know what's right for me & won't settle for anything less than I deserve. I cry a lot, but it's not always out of sadness. I don't consider myself emo or anything, although I am EXTREMELY emotional. I love the rain(thunderstorms are my favorite), but I also love the sunlight. I love trees and Nature. I do believe in Gaea as the godess, but I do not traditionally worship anything. I've taken down my altar, but I still feel most at home when I'm in nature and I pray to Gaea whenever I do pray. I love nighttime in the summer. I Love the moon, and the stars, they make me feel beautiful & mysterious.
For some people not being able to marry the one you love and have devoted your whole life to may seem impossible, but as it is now, that is the reality for many gay and lesbian couples all over America. Gay and Lesbian people are not promiscous as a whole, despite the stereotype. Many of us are devoted and we deserve the right to a civil union, if not a marriage. When I came out to my dear sweet friend Meg, a very devoted Christian, she said that she loved me and if gay marriage was ever legalized, that she would not hesitate to be my maid of honor. I love her for that. She didn't have to say that. Marriage is a religious thing, I'm not asking for that. If Christians beleive that marriage should be between a man and a woman, then so be it. That's up to them, but the government needs to stop ignoring us & realize that we desrve equal rights. A civil union between two men or two women would be completely legal, if they chose to follow the law as it is written. I'm a lesbian and proud. I have nothing to be ashamed of. Love is love.
