I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My waking dreams keep me alive, and my living keeps my dreams awake. Stories, art, and the free way fuel my soul. And food. Everything else is immaterial.

My Interests

Anything I can make with my hands and heart, storytelling, sharing the good moments, taking things apart and putting 'em together, maps, singing, exploring and adventures, coffee cigarettes and a comic book, culture and behaviour of living things, the vice called Love, x-ray photography, old manual typewriters, free found things, freight trains, nature, ganj, these feet of mine, rats, bike and fish, a book outside in the sun; a book under blankets, self-sufficiency, journey over destination, clarity of mind.

I'd like to meet:

My inevitable end one day. Unpretentious people to create and share with.

Music:

is an ever-expanding territory to explore. The more the better.

Movies:

can be as good as books, or even better, but often aren't.

Books:

Anything by Gaiman, Kyle Baker, Alan Moore, Roald Dahl, Crichton, Hemingway...Bone, Creature Tech, Stray Bullets, The Silent Invasion, Watership Down, Ender's Game, The Alchemist, Lamb, Alice In Wonderland, Lolita, Edisto. The Monkey Series. Comics. Books on art, design, photography, culture and behavior like Adam's Task or Cunt.

Heroes:

pave their own roads.

Florida ain't that bad.

I always harp on Florida, but it's pretty fucking crazy enough to be awesome. Just got back from a trip down the coast; lost a shoe on the train and had to tramp around in caution tape like a goddamn ...

I never thought I'd say this, but Tulsa, Oklahoma? Hell yeah. After a gruesome fall/early winter working my ass off to take care of my dog, bless him and hope he'll still be mine when I return to the B...

Days gone by.

Train from Montreal to Toronto, and then back to the states...we were there for Canada Day, fireworks and all. Of bigger interest was the cultural districts and their fervor for the World Cup...we spe...

Montréal is the place to be.

...Too bad this weather is so crappy, but at least there arenèt any heavy thundershowers. We made it into Montréal yesterday, and so far life has been good to us...poutin, good green, being able to dr...

Clean again.

It would have been nice to stay in Ocala longer than two days, but I think to live at a Rainbow gathering longer than a week would drive me nuts. It certainly was an experience all to itself. Nobody t...

California once more.

Cold. Rainy. Today wasn't as stressful as I gathered it might be. I've been sleeping in hour-long naps throughout the day, though--catching up, recuperating. Once my eyes start to close I'm dead to t...

Who gives a shit!

Somehow I end up with an office job while I'm visiting my parents, no less. Alas, this is not what I expected. But what did I expect? The first few days were relief from shitty ass rides on Greyhound...
