I'm very sports centric. I love to watch sports all the time. Ask my fiancée -- she hates it, but she understands. I think sports is a symbol of life and they relate and parallel each other. The ups and downs that an athlete goes though we all face on a daily level in the "real world".I am huge hockey nut....My favorite team is the Montreal Canadiens. I remember my first NHL game was in Philadelphia against the Habs. I remember rooting for the visiting Habs. They won too 4-2.I also love Canada...While I wasn't born in Canada I can thank my parents for giving me my Canadian Citizenship.I write a column called Skate the Plank for the web magazine, MVN (Most Valuable Network) as the primary columnist for the Portland Pirates, Anaheim Ducks' American Hockey League affiliate. I do other freelance writing for other outlets covering the NHL, AHL, ECHL, Double AA baseball and auto racing in the Northeast and Atlantic Canada.I also attend the University of Southern Maine studying for his bachelor's in Social and Behavioral Science.My hope to be able to move back to Ottawa and work either as a sports journalist or counselor.
