About Me

SU originally formed in two-thousand-one .It's original lineup consisted of - John Pacheco/Drums, George Vee/Guitar, & Sylvia Niewinski/Vox later bringing in Rick Van Dyk-Guitar and Brad Whettham on Bass . With John and George at the helm, the two wrote, recorded and produced what would become the first self-titled Surface Underground album in 2003.
The band did some touring behind this effort with new addition; bassist Gary Fresh, and after a lengthy year on the road, opted to take an undetermined hiatus.
During this break, the former members of SU embarked upon numerous solo and group efforts, with Sylvia taking-on ; Scarlet Sins, John recording and touring with bands; The Feeling United & Hello Operator among others, Rick breaking-off to front Metallica Tribute Sandman and George touring with legendary flamenco guitarist Pavlo.
In addition to a breather for the band, the lengthy hiatus also served as a catalyst for new lifeblood and conceptualism. The break brought together three like-minded individuals that would act as a springboard for new material and a conduit for creation.
The album is available through cd baby aswell as it's individual tracks through I-tunes and many other online music stores
