***HEY PEOPLE!!! If I don't know you, I am soooo NOT going to approve your "add as a friend." Go away. If I do know you, you're SO lucky!!! Heh.***My life is full of music and passion. I am unique and not for everyone's tastes, but those I call friend are very lucky people indeed. They know why. :)My humor is dark and sarcastic, my wit keen, and I have a deep well of inner strength. Devious by nature yet loyal, I tend to keep people on their toes...I admit I'm weird in my social graces - I don't find a need to say "bless you" after you sneeze (superstition passed down as social nicety), but I'll hold a door open for someone without a second thought. I won't lie to make someone feel better, even if it might cost me. I tip well for good service. I don't find Seinfeld or Friends funny. I don't like coffee, and rarely like chocolate. I grew up on British humor, bad 80's cartoons, and think Richard Pryor is one of the funniest men on earth. I give massages without asking for anything in return. I can't dance, but I have rhythm in spades. I'm a Positive Pessimist and an Anti-Social Extrovert. (Ha go figure that one out!) That's good for now. Did I scare you off yet? No? Then you need help. :P

My Interests

Taiko, music theory, taiko, martial arts, video games, taiko, flirting, music, taiko, and did I mention taiko?

I'd like to meet:

Someone grounded. Smart. Funny. Honest. Open. Wicked. Without drama, games, or lies. Someone with a musical side would be great, or a nerd/geek factor, or someone who simply blows my socks off.I don't care what your religion is as long as you have an open mind. I'm a free thinker and have strong views about religion vs. spirituality.I don't care what your political tendencies are as long as you realize what an evil web politics truly are. I'm pretty much a social liberal and fiscal conservative.Sports fans tend to confuse me. People who think the Sizzler is "fine eatin's" annoy me. Heavy party-goers are to be avoided. I'm a picky person, but we should all be, hmm?

Music:

Taiko is the sweet sweet sound that makes this tall Scorpio boy sing...aside from that, there's 80's, soundtracks, NIN, Enya, Primus, Tori Amos, Talking Heads, Funk, R&B, and anything but pop and country...

Movies:

Seven Samurai, The Killer, The Prophecy, Monsters Inc., Lord of the Rings, Shaolin Soccer, The Thing (remake), Dawn of the Dead (remake), Suicide Kings, Ghost in the Shell, Macross Plus, Ninja Scroll, Fish Called Wanda, Bug's Life, The Crow, Terminator, Terminator 2, Drumline, all Bruce Lee movies...

Television:

Buffy, Angel, Law & Order, Boston Public, Stargate SG1, MST3K (the Joel years), Mythbusters, House!

Books:

Anything by H.P. Lovecraft, books on language, critical thinking, books by Alan Moore.
