So, like, about me? I dunno, I'm not that spectacular... Um, I'm Matt (or Matthew, or Basil, or Tripper, or The Asian One). I enjoy life in general, for the most part. Or maybe I once did -now I'm not so sure.

I tend to do my own thing, I'm not exactly what you'd call NORMAL. When I'm sad, or angry, or bored I write or play something musical, or listen to some. YAY MUSIC!. I play guitar in a band. Nothing big...yet.

You're judging me, right now. But it's okay, because someone's always judging you.
I despise that mask you wear, you know...the identity you create to hide the real you. Show yourself to the world, and be happy about who you are. Stop pretending, and take a chance, you'll be more content that way, and the resutls will please you. Admit your faults and your fears.
But what a hypocrite I am, what do you know about me?
--The real me? You don't know. And I don't know. So I guess we're even, aren't we? That mask that protects the real us is the facade which shields us from reality. Because the real you is too you for the world to comprehend. Welcome to life.

I don't judge other people based on their beliefs, and enjoy learning the stories of other people's lives. What you do with your life is your business, until it affects my life. I support diversity and the choices that others make in THEIR lives, but don't shove your beliefs down my throat or try to change who I am. I believe what I believe, and I don't ask me what that is, because I don't want to discuss it. I am me, you cannot/should not influence what I want to do with my life, thank you.

I admit readily to my slight nerdness... I strive to comprehend things I don't already know, and I like to learn about everything, especially other people. I pretty much live for fun and I include learning interesting things in that. I do find some areas of learning quite unenjoyable. I hate boring/tedious tasks and basically will do anything to get me weekend to weekend. I am on quest for knowledge, I want to understand. Enlighten me.

I love doing things with friends, pretty much anything that's fun and/or new. I make new friends quick, people seem to like me usually, I have no idea why. Some say I'm a good listener, I say listening's easy, it's coming up worth something to say afterwards that's the hard part. I find that people on msn at 3am dispense more truth than anyone ever does. Everybody lies.
