About Me

One of my friends wrote on his MySpace that it's useless writing anything in About Me box. He said: "If you want to know something, ask me" I think that it's necessary to give you at least a small preview, otherwise I won't be able to reply to all your messages. So, here are some tips, some keys for understanding me. 1) Spiritual growing is the main aim of my life. I hope to finish sometime the spiritual journey that began over 6 years ago by achieving Moksha. 2) Movies (I'm a huge cinephile). Cinéma is some sort of haven for me. 3) Music (From the minute I wake up till the second I go to sleep) 4) Books (Fond of reading. I'm a book buff) 5) Philosophy and philosophizing. Love both Western and Eastern philosophy, I think they mutually enrich each other. My favourite Eastern philosophy is the philosophy of India-Tibet region, Averroes, Rumi. As for Western philosophy... Love Socrates and Platon. But most of all I adore Plotinos! I share lots of his ideas. And in general I revere Ancient Greece, it's one of those places I would love to visit if I could! Philosophy of the Age of Enlightenment (especially French and Azerbaijanian) is one of my favourite philosophic periods, because of overthrowing barbarian religious dogmas of Dark Ages. I like Hegel, because of his theory of dialectics. I like Nietzsche, because of his great passion and inclination to monism. I like Jose Ortega y Gasset, Karl Jaspers, Lev Gumilyev, Hannah Arendt, Herbert Markuze, Alvin Toffler, because I share lots of their ideas on development of the human society. I adore Neal Donald Walsch's Conversations With God. These books completely reflect my vision of God and life... The list is not exhaustive. And I also would like to say that I think there are certain kernels of good sense almost in every philosophic idea or theory. 6) Nature! It's the place where I feel my unity with the Universe, the place where Microcosm connects to Macrocosm. 7) Tea. Love making tea, drinking tea, smelling tea... 8) And last but not least - Art. I'm fond of different kinds of art wheter it's painting, sculpture, designing or architecture. I love Italian Renaissance (Botticelli, Leonardo), French and Russian Impressionism (Pissarro, Monet, Konstantin Korovin), Postimpressionism (Van Gogh, some Seurat and Odilon Redon), French Symbolysm (Gustave Moreau), French fauvisme (Matisse), Russian Abstract art (Malevich, Kandinsky) and many more. From sculptors I prefer Pheidias, Michelangelo, Bernini, Pigalle and Rodin. As for architects... I love the ancient european architecture (Greece, Rome), the Renaissance, Classicistic architecure and Art Nouveau (especially I admire Antonio Gaudi y Cornet). Love the Art of Photography... also take pics myself...Read my VisualDNA ™ Get your own VisualDNA™
