I'd like to meet:
Kurt Vonnegut, Jesus
Music:
Pat MacDonald, Glenn Miller, Portishead, Bjork, Nine Inch Nails, Beethoven, The River Beneath, Sarah McLachlan's Fumbling Toward Ecstacy (there's just something amazing about this album...), Radiohead, Beatles, Jim Croce, Coldplay, sefton, Johnny Cash, Fiona Apple, Fleetwood Mac, and just about everything in between. I also sing in two worship bands at my church, and I used to sing in a variety pop/rock cover band...
Movies:
American Beauty, Army of Darkness, Life is Beautiful, As Good as it Gets, Ghost World (for sentimental reasons, as well), Winnie the Pooh movies
Television:
I don't normally watch tv except for football (Go Pack!) and baseball (go Cubbies!), and I don't even watch that regularly. Although, now I must admit that I found a show on accident and got hooked for this past tv season: House. Hilarious! Cynical! I love it! If I was a couch potato, I would watch Seinfeld, The Simpsons, The Cosby Show, Golden Girls, The Daily Show (is this even on anymore?), Whose Line Is It Anyway, and old episodes of The X-Files.
Books:
Anything by Kurt Vonnegut. Or Steven King, or Terry Prachet, or Milan Kundera, or JM Coetzee, or Toni Morrison, or Dr. Seuss, or Shakespeare, or, or, or...or anything else, classic or new. I'm addicted to used books stores. I own more books than I could possibly read unless I live a really long time (here's to hoping!). I can't read them fast enough! Why are books at the bottom of this list???
Heroes:
Jesus Christ and my husband
