I love meeting new people from all over. I want as many friends as possible because I love to travel and see different places. I'm also an indie film producer and have been in a couple of movies that were released to Blockbusters - no box office hits yet, but I'm working on it. I started making candles as a hobby about seven years ago. Now they've been sold in gift shops and massage therapy salons, as well as out of my home. I'm expanding my growing side business, Designs By Bren, to myspace and the Internet and I hope to go full time into candle making (and acting/writing/directing, lol) by the end of this year.
I love to make candles. It's soothing, relaxing, creative, fun and yet challenging. I used to make all kinds - ice candles, moulds, sand candles, water candles (no, I'm not making that up, there really is a "water candle"), floating candles, container candles, tea-lights, chunks, embedded, painted, dipped, hurricanes, you name it - I made it. Now I specialize in stack candles for two reasons - they're rare and they're the most creative of the bunch. You can stack any shape known to man, mix colors and scents without them bleeding together, you can vary how the stacks sit on the wicks, any size goes, they can be simple or out of control, multi-wicked, chunked, striped, dipped, whipped - anything! The best part, they don't take 24 hours to dry and each one is unique.
I have access to hundreds of scents but I tend to make up my own by mixing late into the night like a mad scientist!
I now concentrate on wholesale and event orders. If you have a wedding coming up and need candle favors, or if you own a retail shop & would like stack candles on your shelves, please contact me!
Prices are competetive, esp. for home poured candles. They can be unscented per your request. I can make any shape. Around Valentine's Day my heart-shaped stacks fly off the shelves and around the year-end holidays I make fall and winter themed candles like you've never seen!
