About Me

Keir, at only 25 years of age is already firmly established as one of Australia’s leading Drum&Bass DJ’s. He burst onto the scene around 2001 with his fast paced and precise mixing skills and vibing selection of beats, gaining the attention from local promoters and DJ’s instantly. He quickly moved from his first set at Orange, to 40Hz’ Realtime at Prahran’s renowned hot spot, Revolver. From there he continued to gain momentum, DJing at a number of Melbourne’s best venues from The Metro to the HiFi Bar, The Prince to the Espy - always with an outstanding response.
Meanwhile, in the spare time he had outside of the clubs he began to focus on his own productions, spending tireless hours in the lab refining his skills. 2005 saw a collaboration alongside local lad Fikuss entitled ‘Look Around’ featuring on a local compilation and was met with a delightful response. This further encouraged him to continue to walk the line he’d chosen and fast-forwarding to 2007 and it’s evident nothing has changed. On top of a busy DJ and studio schedule he also runs ‘Hidden Agenda’, a weekly Thursday nighter at lounge alongside KombatBass front man, Fikuss, which has been running for some 3years in one form or another.
Over the years he’s showcased and supported some of the scene’s elite including Andy C & MC GQ, Pendulum and MC Verse, Goldie & MC Lowqui, Ed Rush & Optical, Adam F, DJ Friction & SP:MC, Mampi Swift, Grooverider, Roni Size, D-Bridge, DJ Fresh, Storm, Shy FX & MC Skibadee, Shimon, Zinc, Teebee, Kenny Ken & MC Foxy, Calyx, Krust, Die, Patife & Cleverland Watkiss, InfluxUK, Black sun Empire, Future Prophecies, The Upbeats, Chris Su, DJ SS & WarrenG, Killa Kella, Skream and Breakage regularly outshining the visiting international artists.
His DJ sets tend to be as diverse and as versatile as the music itself, never locking himself into a single sound or style, though one thing is always constant – and that’s the vibe. He always manages to navigate you through a host of sounds in a smooth and seamless manner that will have every dancefloor in a frenzy!
