douglas adams, nick hornby, and haruki murakami.. i'm starting to finally getting into paul auster as well. and graphic novels... the crow, sandman, preacher... i love children's books too. chronicles of narnia, encyclopedia brown, harry potter, peanuts.... just finished: paul auster's book of illusions and elizabeth kostova's 'the historian'. highly recommend both. my daily read: pearls before swine.... i aspire to be like Pig one day.
at the moment, i really respect, admire and look up to... in art, the two Bressons. Robert Bresson and Henri-Cartier Bressons. in the kitchen, Gordon Ramsay and Ludovic Lefevre (Anthony Bourdain is a guilty pleasure as well...), and in life, my sister...
