I try to avoid caustic realities, opting for my personal reality that I invest a lot of time in crafting. I like to think of it as a self-contained transparent sphere in which I roll through the "real world". At present, my reality comprises: modern (not contemporary) literature; a book on historic France; a slew of magazines (my informative medium of choice); international modern art gallery and museum hopping; sex, drugs and rock and roll. My present reality excludes: radio; TV (except for Entourage anticipation and the Simpsons when I'm at the gym); newspapers (print and online); yuppies. I spend the majority of my time making things from raw materials. The mediums in which I am currently working are: oil paint; silkscreen; vector artwork (Illustrator); hand drawings (exclusively in black ink); photography (combined with hand drawings in Photoshop); wood (usually found object); food (I am a mean cook); fake fur (recently made 100 mustaches, see www.flickr.com/photos/wiena); LED lights (as a social documentary).
