About Me

Running, lifting weights and basically doing anything that involves challenging my body is my biggest passion. It helps keep me sane from the hustle and bustle of reality. I love watching sports, no matter what it may be...even if I have never watched it I will more than likely be open to it. I am a big UNR fan and try to go to as many football, basketball, baseball and volleyball games as posssible. I have the best friends on earth! Each have a different personality but that is what I love about them. Shopping and expensive jeans are my fetish. Long road trips by myself are my time to think and to sing to whatever is in my disk changer, without making anyones ears bleed. I am a fair wheather sportswoman. I love wakeboarding and camping at my favorite lake, Lahontan (which could be the dirtiest lake in all of Nevada). I have tried snowboarding and love it, even though I am terrible at it. There are times when I tend to look too deep into things happening in my life and read into things too often, I haven't really learned how to control that part of my personality, but fortunately I have wonderful friends who make me take a look at things in a different perspective before I make a complete ass of myself. I'm not into drama I have had plenty of it in my life, which was caused mostly by my own idiocy. I tend to be a pretty straight forward person but try to say what is on my mind with class. I have learned that in life nothing is perfect. Not me, not whoever reads this, not any situation that I may be in and if you are put in an awkward situation you are being put in it for a reason. I have also learned that everyone makes mistakes. Everyone has flaws and those flaws are more than likely what makes a person beautiful as well as who they have become at this very moment. Without flaws and the making of mistakes this world would be boring. As long as you learn from your mistakes and take away something positive from every situation (good or bad) you will be better in the long run. I truely believe things happen for a reason...maybe karma, maybe just because...but they do happen for a reason even if we don't quite understand them. We just have to accept them.

My Interests

The greatest irony of love is loving the right person at the the wrong time, having the wrong person when the time is right and finding out you love someone right after that person walks out of your life (or you walk out of theirs)...and sometimes, you think you're already over a person, but when you see them smile at you , you'll suddenly realize that you're just pretending to be over them just to ease the pain of knowing that they will never be yours again...For some, they think letting go is one way of expressing how much you love the person...In my opinion some are afraid to see the one they love being held by someone else. Most relationships fail not because the absense of love, it's just that one is being loved too much and the other one was being loved too little. Most often, we fall in love with the person we think we love, but to only discover that for them we are just for past times, while the only ones who truely love us remain friends. So here is some advise...Let go when you are hurting too much, give up when love isn't enough and move on when things weren't like they were before. For sure there is someone out there who will love you even more!It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright, find someone who makes your heart smile.
