2006 Tour de France
I love music, art, photography, and cycling. I play woodwinds, have dabbled in sculpture, water colors, acrylics, pen and ink, and sketching. Give me some smooth jazz (like Stan Getz), a paint brush or clay, and a beautiful cyclist donning lycra and I'm a happy woman! George Hincapie (who is a Greenvillian), and Lance Armstrong (Cancer Survivor and the only Seven-Time Winner in History of le Tour de France)are two favorites of mine. I have incredible respect and admiration for anyone who will sacrifice themselves like this for their careers. You hafta LOVE suffering to work like a horse on a bicycle like they do on a regular basis. There are sports and then there are SPORTS... and cycling is not for sissies. Cyclists are the toughest athletes in the world. 'Nuf said! : )
