About Me

Im a professional wrestler and fitness model. I've been wrestling for about 4 years across the country, and was on the WWE pay per view "BACKLASH" 2005. I now wrestle in the south, primarily for NWA:ANARCHY (www.nwa-wildside.com). I am also currently the GCW Ladies Champion. My ultimate goal is of course to be in a big time fed and to be the women's champion! and to do film and television. You can see a cool montage of my work at anarchy here http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=YZK3mkwqNrYMy background includes fitness modelling and professional bodybuilding. At one time I was ranked 9th in the world. I am best known as a fitness model, having been on the cover and featured in either articles, lingerie issues, bikini issues, videos, posters and calendars for such top fitness magazines as Muscle&Fitness, Flex, Ironman, Muscular Development, MuscleMag International and others. My most recent big spread was a 14 page bikini spread in the July 2005 issue of MuscleMag International. It was one of my best spreads ever! And I was just recently in the Nov/Dec 2006 issue of Planet Muscle. The pic that was featured you can see in the PHOTOS section of myspace, as well as some of the MuscleMag shots. One of my proudest accomplishments besidrs my bodybuilding championships and my extensive coverage in magazines has been making MODEL OF THE WEEK on the very popular men's site WWW.ASKMEN.COM. This feature is usually reserved for celebrities, playboy models, supermodels, actresses and such. Being a muscular woman, as you can imagine, I at times get negativity from narrow-minded men and women who don't think that a woman developing her body is "feminine". I have a problem with closed-minded people. A woman who develops her ability to be strong and muscular ISN'T masculine, she is obviously a woman who is empowering herself and taking advantage of her ability to develop her strength. The problem seems that some people get intimidated by this, and deliver the low-blow of attacking the woman's feminity. Or people who outrightly love the look and say so are attacked by these closed-minded people who then attack the man's sexual orientation. What kind of crap is this???? God, use your mind and think outside the box! To get to the base point though, I was pretty happy being named MODEL OF THE WEEK. Hopefully this will show to women that it is ok to develop their bodies without fear of being labelled "masculine", and show men that a developed woman can be pretty, feminine, tough, strong, hot and a TURN ON. Ahhhh, nothing like the backing of thousands of "regular red-blooded" men everywhere (regular as opposed to just gym guys). I love to push the envelope.I also have done informercials and been in a movie, and been in several books. I have a great website with tons of pix and videos and a full resume at www.melissacoates.com.
