i'm still a little freaked out

Well, I'm Gene Philip. My friends call me GP and some call me Gene. I'm a Filipino and I'm freaking proud to be one. I'm currently staying at Davao City but I'm certain that it would not take long. I'm quite lazy in updating my pictures and blogs here so my page is kinda boring. Better check my friendster account because it's often updated.
I'm 20 years old going 21 this year. I just graduated last March with a degree in Nursing and I'm about to take the board exams this December. I'm gonna do my freaking best to be a successful nurse. Being successful obviously means going to the states and start my own family.
I'm a great friend. I easily give my full trust to other people, which is not such a good thing. Trust is usually overrated.
I have great friends and a very supportive family. Music is my life and Ragnarok has been my passion.
I smoke and drink but I don't do drugs. I'm not wasting my life for no practical reason at all. I love sports. I can play any sports you name. Just lay it on the table.

my latest realizations

In the end of the day, it's your family you'll come home to. Your high school friends are for keeps. Sometimes we need to be alone to find the person we're looking for. Love is overestimated. Being single is not a life-sentence. Besides, there are more things you can do alone than being with someone. Never open your life to everyone. Keep some to yourself. Do not rely on others. Be your own safety net. If all else fails, always remember, suicide is not and will never be the answer.
