About Me

Candor is a compliment; it implies equality. It's how true friends talk.
Over the past couple of years I’ve made the conscious choice to be truly happy, to like who I am and to no longer seek approval in others. For a long time I wasn’t happy unless I was unhappy – if that makes any sense. It was as if the ‘search for happiness’ was what was making me happy. And God forbid I actually found it one day because then what would I do? While on that misguided ‘vision quest’, a lot of good years passed me by, or I let them pass me by... and although I can’t go back, I’ve decided that not only am I not going to regret the things I did... I’m not going to regret the things I didn't do either.
I think we look for the differences in each other to prove that we're not alone. But then, I also think it's true that what attracts us most is ourselves.
According to The Devils Dictionary, Admiration is 'our polite recognition of another's resemblance to ourselves.' That's neat.
I believe that stupidity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results. And the difference between genius and stupidity? Well... genius has its limits.
I believe there's a very fine line between hobby and mental illness... and that you should never argue with an idiot (they drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience).
Be careful who you listen to because there's no difference between lies and compliments.
