Mixed genre writing. Performance art, sculpture and installations. Travel, yoga, belly dance. And though I don't get to indulge as much as I'd like, fashion.
You Are Chinese Food
Exotic yet ordinary.
People think they've had enough of you, but they're back for more in an hour.
What Kind of Food Are You?
The Rock.
Everything - rap, jazz, classical, rock, alternative, neosoul, etc.
All kinds, indie to slapstick. Office Space, Day after Tomorrow, Friday, Tombstone, Pulp Fiction, Legends of the Fall, Scorpion King, The Notebook, The Good Shepherd, The Departed, Breakfast Club, Color Purple, Rabbit-Proof Fence, Chronicles of Narnia, Fargo, Usual Suspects, Crash, Hotel Rwanda, The House of the Spirits, Sankofa, Kill Bill vols 1 & 2, Malcolm X, Gangs of New York, American Pie, The Matrix...
When I have time to watch TV: ANTM (Ain't no shame in my game either), Chappelle's Show, Law & Order SVU/CI, Sex & the City, Project Runway, Supernanny, Medium, old black & white movies, comedies on TBS like Austin Powers and Happy Gilmore... But mostly I have to watch Pokemon, Jimmy Neutron, Fairly Oddparents, Scooby Doo and SpongeBob with my son. But it can be fun!
Mostly poetry and hybrid poetry/memoir. Glass, Irony & God (Anne Carson); The Book of Disquiet (Fernando Pessoa); Don't Let Me Be Lonely (Claudia Rankine). I like popular fiction too, any kind really, from Nora Roberts to John Grisham and Dan Brown.
people who follow their dreams, and my little boy, who I try to do my best to deserve.
