Dead Generation (Deconstructing Their Hold)

This is me, John. I like to eat and sleep. I'm just another average joe in a world dominated by money and power, of which I have neither. So my influence in the wide world is fairly minimal. But wide world can go to hell. See, I don't care about anything that doesn't have an influence on my everyday life. The reason for this is because I don't have the ability to change these things, only people with money and power can do that. But I do think it's a damn shame that the most politically powerful man on the planet can't string a real english sentence together. Which is why nothing on this godforsaken war-indulged planet gets done right.
However, my world right now couldn't get much better. I'm living the life of you're average joe teenager, which is exactly what I am. There is no hidden character inside me. I'm not flawless. I can't lick my elbow. I'm not especially talented. I'm just me. The people who circulate in the world that matters; MY world, know all this and have accepted me for who I am and know that I'm not gonna change for anybody. I like being sociable, although I'm not very good at it. Pretty much the same situation as I'm in with food, I like it but I can't cook without causing serious illness/death. I'm actually a complete idiot despite the fact i am quite intelligent. I'm also a small guy trapped in a tall guy's body; I've come to this conclusion by acknowledging the fact that I hit my head off too many things. It's a good job I always wear a hat or I would be permanently concussed.
My friends and my family are everything to me. Without them I'd be a shell of what I am now. Friends and family help develop who you will be in the future. I like things just the way they are right now. If anyone tries to fuck it up, you'll have your teeth surgically removed from your stomach.
