My Interests

Music:

I have a pretty varied taste in music, however, I tend to like rock and classic metal, but I'm not the kind of person to limit myself to one genre, I also like a lot of 80s pop and new wave music, 70s psychadelic and acoustic.

Movies:

I am a big film-fan, which is great, because I work at Blockbuster video, where I get 10 free rentals a week. I like watching films, and also talking about films with likeminded people. My movie trivia and list of films I know about is immense, but not encyclopaedic. I read Empire magazine and Total Film now and then, and I really enjoy reading about movies. My favourite types of movies are one with dense or complex plots, snappy dialogue, and interesting characters. My favoruite directors are Lars Von Trier, Akira Kurosawa and John Carpenter. I enjoy all sorts of movies, but my favourites tend to be independant movies. I'll watch most anything really, from laughably bad Edward D Wood films to World Cinema.

Television:

I'm not a massive TV watcher, although I do watch a lot of documentaries on TV. My favourite TV shows are Life On Mars, Curb your Enthusiasm, Travel Sick, Family Guy and most of the [Adult_Swim] shows. I also like a bit of anime/manga here and there.

Books:

I don't read a lot of books, because I don;t really have enough time to sink into a book, (I'm not a slow reader, but I'm not really fast either) Here are some books I have read and enjoyed though. Heroes:

Lot's of people have affected me over the years, and I have changed and grown having known them, and it's these people that have made me what I am today. For that I'm thankful, and so I guess to me all my friends are heroes. None more so than this crazed lunatic, my best friend Matt.
