Because of sin, the world is stuck in a never-ending process of life and death. Involved in that are the trappings of this world: gratification, fame and power, all stemming from man..s separation from God. This human cycle constitutes a need for a God. It is by Him and only through His gift that we can be free of this bondage.
Sharing God..s desire that none shall perish (2 Peter 3:9), the band Psycle has answered the calling to be used by God in a way that powerfully leaves an impact on all people, specifically the younger generations. Music is one of the largest driving forces in society. It divides and unites. It encourages sin; it can instill worship in the hearts of God..s people. Either way, its presence cannot be ignored.
In the fall of 1999, Adam Lockwood along with two other founding members, all three guitar players at a tiny Bible school in LaGrange, Wyo., started meeting in one another..s dorms to share a passion for music and also to write new songs. Joining them for their first show the following January was Ikaika Pekelo.
Now, five years later, Lockwood and Pekelo have refocused to rock out the Front Range area of Colorado with hard-hitting lyrics, face melting riffs and drum patterns that will leave your jaw dropped to the ground. Yet more importantly, their passion for Jesus Christ hits an even deeper note that will leave your soul crying out for eternal treasure.
Kicking their shoes off in their hometown Fort Collins, Colo., this hard acoustic rock band is dedicated to building God..s kingdom by making it strong from within, while making disciples through music as the means to reach out. In everything, they strive to give all glory to God, because it is by Him and through Him that they are able to share their passion through music in the life they have been given.
