Preacher Auron ( AKA David)

About Me

(please read all of it lol) first and for most... I am in love with God. Therefore I'm going into ministry in some manner... or is it the other way around... I spend so much time with Him... I have no choice but to love Him because His awesome presence is so prevalent in my life. Right now this is manifesting itself in the form of writing. I love writing and it feels natural and satisfying. In congruence with that is my latest passion and life focal point is writing poetry and starting a magazine. Its going to be an "alternative" culture Christian Arts magazine. It will include stuff from thought essays and poetry to paintings and tattoo art. It is tentatively named Sagaris: On Edge Christian Artistry. (Sagaris means Battle Axe in Greek). AS I have found also necessary to mention I fall on the Charismatic side of the Christian belief system. Just thought I should throw that out there.

I am back in school for the moment. I enjoy moshing and any concert that promotes moshing... well as long as like Satan worship isn't being conducted at the same time lol. Um I have two 4 gauge earrings and two tattoos (I want many more). Both of which I love to death. My tats are snazzy!! One tat is the trinity loops turned into a three leaf clover (which St. Patrick used to explain the Trinity to the native Irish) with the lettering in Greek meaning "completely dedicated" surrounding it. On the other shoulder... (yes I'm a whuss, and I didn't get it on my inner thigh as some crack heads do) is two bloody nails in the shape of a cross with a crown of thorns hanging from them. Man, I want more!!! If you cant tell now Im not your typical Christian... I mean I am... I live by and write about what God gives me via Biblical principles... but I'm not wearing $500 dollar suits while everyone around me is just trying to make ends meet. Again, I really want to write a book or .. seven lol But That takes a lot of time and effort.. I dont want it the poorly written. I like to write in just about every style, poetry (especially newer styles), thought essays, fiction, non fiction, pretty much writing is just fun. I love sports.. both playing and watching... hmm I should put up some pics of my tattoos. Sorry random thought of the day there. Oh and yeah video games are fun as long as they don't get into God time or slow your life down.
Anyway I'm sure like every blog site the next 50 billion questions will make me tell you the rest about me including toe sock size and other random and stupid facts. So I will stop here.
Ive been blessed with a great friend in Tabbi and another one in Dizzy. I tend to gravitate toward getting a few very close friends as opposed to many shallow ones.
P.S. Yeah, I actually got a background. It was all Ashley Green's doing ( So you can thank her for bringing me from bland originality to a commercial but snazzy background. Yeah, the background rules and it is definitely a lot like me. So yay for her. Give her props.

My Interests

Writing and starting up AWESOME magazines. Sports with football leading the list; Music mostly of the rock genre but I really enjoy everything else too; Movies ... just movies in general; Video games...though I have learned to semi control my gaming habit. God; sheesh ... all kinds of stuff.. pretty much anything fun and enjoyable.

Anyone really. Oh and if you want a decent picture... one other than the crappy phone pic you see there... ask me and I will send ya one... they are too big for myspace. OK SOMETHING VERYYYYY IMPOOOORRRRTANT. If your name is IMSOHOT4U or MY BOOTY IS AWESOME or I WANT TO SCREW YOUR EYES OUT or any of the like.... please dont send me an invite. Seriously Im not gonna accept it.. it's wasting both of our time. Upon further review I also must include... if your picture is flipping me off... then too shall I not accept the invite. Really does that work in real life?.. walk up to some one... give 'em the bird... then be like "hey wanna be buddies?"

Music:

This is retarded... why do they ask for your intrests... knowing that music will probably be up there... then put a music category right below it. Oh well. I like Skillet, Underoath, Decyfer, Demon Hunter, Lucerine Blue, Chevelle, P.O.D., Staple, Jonah 33, Radial Angel, Seventh Day slumber, Disciple, Life House, Newsboys (their praise and worship is great), Flyleaf, Chasing Victory, The Classic Crime, The 7 Method, This Fire's Embrace; The Almost; Anberlin; Linkin Park; Snow Patrol; System of the Down; Coldplay. There are like a MILLION others but this should give you a taste of what Im about. These are my new buds and one of my fave bands. You really need to check them out.

Movies:

The Passion (yep it good and you can deal with it... just as a simple movie... it is well made); Friday night lights (awesome sports movie); Of course the LOTR trilogy; The Lion Witch and the Wardrobe.. great book great movie; Donny Darko; too many to really choose from really. Oh well thems tha breaks ^_^. The Science of Sleep, (I decided just to start taking them on) We are Spinal Tap. The Borne Trilogy;

Television:

Anime; Sports; The best week ever; I love the 70's, 80's, & 90's.

Books:

ahhhhh yessss yessss!!!! this is my section here. Ok we'll start off with the Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer; Next ... ANYTHING by C.S. Lewis (includes fiction and non-fiction theology); J.R.R. Tolkien (geesh what is it with writers and initials) Yeah he rules... read all his stuff. Anything written by a member of the Inklings (included Lewis and Tolkien). Dave Roberson's the Walk of the Spirit the Walk of power; Dutch Sheets' Intercesorry prayer (and yes that is his real name); Voltaire, Plato has some really good stuff; Oh my ex professor Dr. Fritz has some awesome stuff on Nazi Germany.. look his stuff up. Yeah that should keep ya busy for a while. OH Wait... MANGA must have ueber manga... great stuff. AND MY FAVORITE POET EVER!!! John Donne. If you haven't read "Holy Sonnet 14" you are missing out on life. He combined religion and love and passion so perfectly that I truly aspire to be like him.

Heroes:

umm letsss see... oh yeah JESUS DUH. St. Patrick; Martin Luther King Jr; Martin Luther... yes I know he had some major flaws but what he did was incredible and his zeal for God unquestionable; C.S. Lewis; A.W. Tozer; J.R.R. Tolkien; Heck any body else in the Group known as the "inklings" (lots of good writers check them out); Parents... again they are flawed like us all but I wouldnt be as in love with God or in such good shape if it wasnt for them putting up with my crap through my teens all the way up to... today lol; Um that is a good list... oh one more: Reggie White... He was a preacher and possibly the best Defensive player at UT and in the NFL... Hall of Fame baby!!! See sports and God do mix. And Just like the last section JOHN DONNE. Incredible poet and preacher, and husband and lover (In the more romantic sense... in other words he loved his wife for more than just sex... Though he liked that as well lol). He was everything a Christian male should be.
