DANCE as though no one is watching you, LOVE as though you have never been hurt before, SING as though no one can hear you, LIVE as though heaven is on earth. Music has always been such an important part of my life... I just have to move! On nights out, I love playing with my friends, especially when it involves listening or dancing to music, gossip, and maybe some adult beverages or unique cuisine. In my quieter times, I enjoy reading, cooking, drawing, writing and spending time with my family(my VERY favorite thing to do). Oh and I just love, love, love to bargain shop! It's all about the hunt!
Reunited and it feels so good!Lovin' myspace to keep in touch with old friends!
Dancing is best to house music (the pretty and funky stuff is my favorite). I also like punk (old and new), 80's New Wave, classic rock like SMB and the Dead, and YES, I like some hip hop and Top 40 (Gwen and Christina)! I was a dancing queen as a kid listening to Abba and rocked out with Blondie! One of the great moments of my life was meeting Debbie Harry after watching her perform along with The Ramones - gabba gabba hey!! I am a child of the 80's! As far as live shows, Rabbit in the Moon blow my mind and I totally dig my latest discovery in live entertainment, Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine.
Old school: Breakfast at Tiffany's, Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz, Pillow Talk, Meet Me in St. Louis... More recent: Desperado (Oh! Antonio!), Moulin Rouge, Austin Powers (all), Pulp Fiction, Dogma, Snatch, Tombstone, Star Wars (Empire is my fav), comic book movies (Spider-Man, X-men, etc), Shrek... many more.
I'm addicted to reality TV shows. I can't turn away! I really like the Bravo shows like Project Runway and Top Chef. But then I still like (the OG) Real World shows on MTV. Can you say "I love you tivo"??? I'm hooked on "Lost"... my theory is that they're all dead and stuck in purgatory, that's why they aren't on "the list" yet. I guess, like millions of others, that I'll just have to wait and see.
I mostly read series books because I connect with the characters and stories. The ones I read most are Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles/Mayfair Witches, Harry Potter, The Narnia Chronicles, and Left Behind. Right now I'm on the second book of the Eragon series. I also enjoy reading books of enlightenment like The Celestine Prophecy, The Road Less Traveled and Be Here Now. I recently started scanning Sylvia Browne's books (pyschic) after seeing her live with my friend Donna Bella. I'm not sure how much of it I believe but it's worth checking out.
My mom! My daughter! My fantastic boyfriend! Superman... Christopher Reeve! Bill Clinton (a wonderful president but lousy, no good husband)! And my close friends for standing by my side when things sucked! It's all good now --- THANK YOU!!!
