About Me

Shite! It has been a while since I updated this thing! Hmmmm...well, I am still a pop/low brow artist but not so much a model kit builder anymore. Mostly, hot rod style art and a heavy influence of Day of the Dead style. I paint things biggish and super tiny-ish. I am in love with Rockabilly culture and am blessed to live in a town that has a thriving scene with some really cool folks. I am fascinated by the funeral industry and related collectibles and a dream come true would be to own a 1972 Cadillac hearse. I WAS working on that but problems like a small driveway and huge fawking gas prices have slid that dream out of the realm of reality. I an avid photographer of gravestones and cemetery art. You can see my contributions on Find A Grave under Alecto's Garden of Souls. Look it up on Google or something, or take a look at some my other photography on Flickr at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/casketrina/ My husband, Faust and I were co-model builder's for the super awesome sci-fi masterpiece by Michael MacIntosh, Aliens Cut My Hair, which was recently accepted and shown at the New York Independent Film Festival and is now out on DVD. Support the Queer Arts! Buy it, see it! What else...oh, we have NINE cats, a neurotic dog, and a Bearded Dragon. A very full and furry house. All of the kitties are rescues from various unfortunate circumstances and are the "kids". A bunch of spoiled rotten little monsters, but lovable and adored. I am happily married to Faust0Matic who is an amazing photographer (check out his shit) and the mother of a wonderful son, Max. OH! I cannot forget the ever magnificent Courtney, my lovely daughter!!
