The truth is

About Me

It's terrifying and amazing to swim in the sea at night. I love the forest like it's a strong green heart I can trust. I love playing music, I love traveling, swimming in the ocean where you learn to ride the waves, swimming in the sea where you learn to open your eyes and it's all blues and greens, moving shapes and you learn to swim far out and not be afraid. Once I had a dream I was swimming with dolphins and my sister Niki, and I was happy for days afterward, knowing how beautiful life really is. Once I had a dream about swimming with Killer Whales; there was blood in the water but it was somehow far-off and I wasn't scared. Once an old man filled my hat with lemons from his lemon tree and waved to me all the way down the street as I walked away. Once I came upon a dead ram in the waves, his ribs all exposed, on the beach where I saw a hundred shooting stars laying on the sand with my cousin the year he died. Once I went to a milk farm and a baby calf sucked on my finger, and I realized I'd never eat meat again. Once I was sleeping outside under a full moon and a skunk hung out sniffing my head. Once I saw fishermen taking a ten foot shark out of the bay I was swimming in. Every day I'm more grateful for my life and the people I love.
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

My Interests

Music is too much and too good to describe; Fires of any kind; Waking up alone with a guitar and a blank white notebook in my room; the limitlessness of how beautiful people are; moments of fearlessness where all guards are down; Good decisions; hearing the people I love laugh; relief at letting something go; The gradual reassurance I feel, the more life I live

I'd like to meet:

Cat Stevens, Lucio Battisti, Kahlil Gibran, Nikos Kazanzakis, My paternal Grandfather, Conor Oberst, Judas, my parents as kids, everyone in parallel choices

Music:

Is one of four sisters: the others are moon, sea, and love.

Movies:

Passolini chooses the most beautiful human beings for his films; they're thus a joy to watch. The scenes are like dreams. Thanks, Adam, for Italian cinema, among other things.

Television:

If all mothers cut off their sons' fingers, armies would fight without fingers

Books:

Read anything by Dan Millman.

Heroes:

Unconditional Creatures

Hierarchy

There is always a part of me that feels a hierarchy going on and I want to keep on top of it, figure out what it is so I can remember it's all inside, that I make the choices and decide the angles, th...
