Emerging from Chester ‘The Time’ are a five piece Rock and Roll band.
The themes to their driven, melodic songs derive from the band itself.
Tackling topics such as Work, Drugs, Alcohol, Love & Life, with the more than believable delivery from frontman, Lee Randle. Their ‘live’ show is raw, yet right and edgy, the way Rock & Roll should be.
With ‘My space’ giving the Band an able springboard, 2007 has seen the individual sound of ‘The Time’ come to the fore. Selling out Chester gigs regularly and taking the music to Liverpool (selling out Academy 2 & Korova) and Manchester (selling out Academy 3 & 235 Casino) and more recently London (Water Rats & Cobden Club).
The praise for the band has been well deserved, with National as well as local press picking up on the bands assault on the music industry.
"The next band on the conveyeur belt of talent, following the arctic monkeys and the enemy" wrote the The Sun newspaper.
“This Band has great potential. I predict that ‘The Time’ will be snapped up in no time! Definitely a Band to watch out for!†was the wirrals Buz Magazines write up following a gig in Liverpool.
"The next big thing..." was Manchester Evening News' take on the band.
It’s now in 2007, with the help and guidance of manager Ste Wood, it has all come together for ‘The Time’. Drummer Ben Taylor and Bassist Saul Blacklock, form the backbone of the Band and it is this tightness that enriches the solid and intricate playing of Ian Dunning and Matthew Small, leaving Lee Randle to take the music by the Balls and give it to the masses…….
THE TIME ARE OUT………
