I'm Jonathan and LEGAL!
I'm less than a year away from my BA degree in Biology, and I am into anything to do with Biology and the human body. I am majoring in Biology and minoring in Sports Science and Art History as well. I’m not sure what I want to do with my life, but I’m thinking about becoming a professional student, medical entomologist, physician, or field biology research scientist.
I am also kicking around the idea of doing something with business, but that'll come later.
Outside of school I'm into just about anything that involves speed, adrenaline, and just plain having fun. I'm into cars and bikes and pretty much anything that goes fast. I love taking chances and playing games of vertigo. I'm all about being outside and I love being by the water so whether it's the ocean or the bay, I'm always down for going to the beach or cruising. I have a pretty big social group and I spend the little free time I have hanging out with friends, going to parties, etc. I'm a pretty laid back kind of guy and I enjoy drinking with friends, but I don’t go out every night and get drunk, because I’ve got better things to do in life than get drunk. I love to stay active, and by definition, I always need to be doing something. I like rock climbing, playing paintball, pool, poker, and working out.
I've been told I give excellent advice for just about everything, but for some reason I can never follow my own advice. I tend to do things at my own pace, usually quick and in a "messed up" priority. Some things come before others because I know they will get me somewhere in life, while others are just divergences off my straight and narrow. I know what I want out of life and I know and do what I have to do to get ahead. I set my nose to the grindstone hard and early, so I tend to blame other's misfortune on their lack of effort and self control.
I am a Hopeless Romantic: nice, friendly, sociable, somewhat funny, and spontaneous. However, I am a typical boy: I’m not one to express emotion, nor call every night, nor spend every waking hour with someone else. That's just not me. I think we should all have our own space every once-in-a-while or time with only the guys. And, with my possible career, I will hopefully be traveling a lot to conferences and other palces across the country, that doesn't bother me, but I know it pretty much bothers every other person that can't relate.
I am definitely a night owl so the best time to catch me is later in the evening.
With that said, I have to do more work...such is the life of a Bio Nerd.
