I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

This is the funniest commercial I've ever seen!
This one is great, too!
My name is Mike, I'm 26 years old, and I live in Billings, Montana, after an on-and-off 6 years down in Phoenix, Arizona. It was quite a change (for the better) moving from podunk rural America to fast-paced urbanism. Of course, I left my family, who I am very close to, and my few close friends from high school. I missed them terribly. Of course, now, I miss all the offerings of the big city.
I have a really good job at an oil and gas company here in Billings, doing accounting. Ironically, my first declared major in college was accounting, so it's pretty cool to actually understand accrual basis accounting, and to understand why certain costs are allocated the way they are. I feel all smart and shit.
As far as my interests go, my life pretty much centers around three things: sports, music, and my friends. I play softball all day every day during the summer, along with a mixed bowling league--my average is as high as it has ever been, at 218!. . .I also like to watch pretty much any sport on television including baseball, soccer, bowling, hockey, lacrosse, and even playoff football.
Musically, you can pretty much count on hearing the circuit beating out of my car stereo. I held a DJ residency at Crowbar on Thursday nights before I moved back home. I don't know what it is about circuit music, but the beats just seem to sing my name. When people tell me, "Circuit is just one big screaming diva," or, "one constant bass beat," I tell them that they're not listening to the rest of the song. THAT is what makes that music so appealing to me, all the stuff that happens in between the vocals and the bass in a song. My job as a DJ is to take two different pieces of a puzzle and put them together in such a way that the music is in a constant state of flow. I LOVE DJing. . .I'm thankful every day to have gained the club experience, and I look forward to bigger and better things as a DJ in the future.
Finally, my friends are my anchor. I have a pretty tight group of close friends who aren't afraid to slap me when I fuck up or congratulate me when I succeed. I can't imagine living here without these people.
I've been fortunate enough to find a fantastic guy here in Montana. He's funny, smart, hot. . .yeah, he's pretty much the whole package, and I couldn't be happier with him. That said, I am NOT NOT NOT available. So please don't ask.
That's enough of a start, I think. I know I certainly didn't cover every facet of my life, so if you have any questions or are just interested in talking to me, hit me up. Peace.

My Interests

I'm big into sports. . .bowling, softball, baseball, soccer, hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, and pool are the ones I like most. I'm the best at bowling, softball, and pool--not exactly the ones with the megabucks salaries being awarded to their players! But, I just enjoy playing and the competition of the games.
I also mix circuit-style vocal house and tribal. I've had the opportunity to play a couple clubs, and totally love it.
I ALSO like to go out and have a good time with my friends, whether it be at a bar, club, or just sit around and jabber over a card table. My friends and family members mean the world to me, and I wouldn't hesitate to break my back for any one of them.

I am certified:

58% addicted to Myspace
Are you addicted to MySpace?

I'd like to meet:

Just normal, down to earth people. Having similar interests is usually a good thing, but by no means, a requirement. Hit me up if you'd like to get to know me better. No, this does not mean, add me as a friend and then never talk to me, or only talk to me when you're pathetically begging for a picture comment to verify your existence. Get a life, people.

Music:

DJs: Tony Moran, Abel, KIRBY, Ralphi Rosario, Manny Lehman, Peter Rauhofer, Offer Nissim, Victor Calderone, Junior Vazquez, Antoine Clamaran, Fist, Joe Bermudez, Mike Rizzo, Budz, Kimberley S, Rafael, Tye. . .you get the idea, I love my circuit music.
Other: Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Garbage, Queens of the Stone Age, Queen, Aerosmith, etc. I pretty much listen to anything, just depends on my mood.

Movies:

Contact is my favorite movie.

Television:

SportsCenter is my all-time favorite, and then most any other sports programming--baseball, tennis, bowling, volleyball, etc.
I also thoroughly enjoy the Simpsons, Ren and Stimpy, Futurama, Family Guy, or any other show with short, biting humor.

Books:

Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.

Heroes:

I've got a couple of heros, for different reasons. . .Ryan's one, for dealing with me in the darkest time of my life, and Josh, for showing me that everything I could have ever wanted in a single person does exist.
