You are Persephone! You are a sweet, innocent, loving girl put into a hard situation. Perhaps in your past you've been taken unfair advantage of, but you are still beautiful. You have a special connection with the earth and an ability to make things grow. However, sometimes your moods can be as different as winter is from spring. Role- daughter of Demeter and Zeus, and Goddess of the Underworld. (i think she should have been goddess of flowers... cause she didn't choose the Underworld) Symbols- gardens, flowers, the dead, the changes of seasons, spring, earthStory- One day, while she was out picking flowers and being all happy and carefree and beautiful, Hades (Lord of the Dead, as you probably know) kidnaps her and takes her down into the Underworld to become his bride, which really stinks because she's a very girly type person, and the Underworld isn't. So, while she is there, she winds up being permanently tied to the dead with Hades when all she really wants to do is go home to her Mom. However, as the story works out, she gets to spend half of the year at home with her mother, and half of the year in the Underworld. Since she was in control of the earth, when she was happy, it was spring, and when she was sad in the Underworld, it was winter. This is how the Greeks explained the change of seasons. The picture shows her holding a flower, as she loved nature, with darkness around her, showing the Underworld. Her mother is in the background because her mom searched high and low to find her kidnapped daughter. __________________________________I worked my butt off on this quiz!
