ORGANIC ROCK

About Me

The Virginia Wolves: Kelly McNally and Adele Schulz truely harmonize on and off stage. Originally Adele had hired Kelly as a music therapist for a local nursing home in New Paltz, New York. There, they had performed their first gig. Over the course of a year Kelly and Adele have met and performed with other talented musicians such as Sean Crimmins, Joe Tobin, Allen Macaluso, Michael Guarente and Nik Lokensgard, contributing various styles to their sound they like to call Organic Rock. A Brief History: Brother and sister, Kelly and John McNally were raised by repressed musicians who made certain that their children would have the opportunity to create and free play. The siblings were introduced to an old player piano as toddlers and then further down the road began to pursue other instruments. John was involved in many different project bands in high school as a drummer, while Kelly experimented with song writing on her mother's acoustic guitar. Ironically enough, the two didn't start to play together until they moved to opposite sides of the country. Kelly ventured upstate New York to the Hudson Valley while John moved out west to Hollywood, California. Their first jam session was recorded at a small rehersal space in LA when they had finally realized how in tune they were with one another. Kelly met Nik Lokensgard while interning at an independent college radio station that promoted local musicians of the Hudson Valley. She was Co-hosting as DJ at Vassar College's WVKR, while Nik contributed as the show's sound engineer. Kelly and Nik have also interned at Leopard Studio for Producer/Engineer Jimmy Goodman, before they began playing music together.
