About Me

I bought my first guitar out of a JC Penny catalog when I was 23. It was a Washburn and arrived at my house in a cardboard box. It had the highest action ever. It almost broke my hands just to play it.Growing up there was alot of vinyl in my house: Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Rait, Jethro Tull, Miles Davis, The Eagles, The Rolling Stones. And then always classical music on the radio in the daytime.I've gone through my phases, like we all have. Metal, classic rock, hip-hop, country, Americana, jazz...and then it all comes back around again. I really love just about everything that has a tune.I have a macbook and one microphone. I really need to get serious about some good recordings. What I have here are just some really raw recordings done at my kitchen table. I don't think they do me justice! I've had alot of opportunities to do real recordings, but for some reason I just haven't felt ready.I haven't played in a really long time and I miss it. I'm hoping that springtime will be my muse. The lack of inspiration is daunting, but I feel like everybody is uninspired right now. The whole universe is on the cusp of something really big and I'm just along for the ride.
