...welcome to the rdoubleu apparel marketing department, also known as, myspace......the line...
rdoubleu was launched at a time when the women's contemporary market was being attacked by premium denim,...so i jumped on a pair of jeans and rode my way in....with a lil help from the state of NY and some romancin' from bald headed guys with fat pockets, the line was in motion...the line encompasses all the things i love about clothes, and everything that i want, and that i can't find....i am in no way reinventing the wheel, i am just making the wheel one i would want to ride on...the tops are basic, just added touches here and there...i'm a jeans and sneakers type of chick, who at any moment can throw on a pair of guiseppe zanotti's and hurt 'em,..and i like clothes that can go from day into night....which equals rdoubleu

my name is robyn, and i am the creator, founder, and 100% owner of this line....i freelance a mean 9 to 5 ( or more like whenever i get there til whenever i leave ) to pay the bills, and finance this line...i'm born and raised in baltimore...i left at 17 to go to college in atlanta...graduated friday, may 27, 1999 with a bachelor's degree in fashion design...and left Monday on flight to the big apple.....i never looked back....my first job was at a Dollhouse licensee as an assistant designer....a year later i left for a job as a graphic designer at Rocawear....less than a year later i became an assistant designer...a month later i got a title of Designer (for mens).....spring of '03 of decided i wanted to do womens and i left the ROC to launch a line called Honee for a small sportswear company....during this time i grew tired of the idea of going back and forth to China, the idea of Magic in Vegas, and i just got bored with the idea of FULL TIME for a company.....so i decided to strike out on my own...i started freelancing for numerous companies to free my mind of working full time, and i wanted to focus my energies on my line and growing it and making it into what i wanted it to be...many disagree on how i have chosen to do things,...who cares (it is become my opinion that those who are doing nothing have the most to say about what i am doing, understand it falls on deaf ears)....i love to laugh, and i love music, i work out way too much, and i have the driest sense of humor you will ever encounter, i tend to make light of everything, i wreak havoc with all the sarcasm i posses, and yes, that is all my own hair...

i was invited into this craziness, and i was intrigued by how people used it to promote there business, so after doing nothing with my profile for 2 months i jumped in full force...and i never intended on the profile being personal, and i never included a photo of myself, 'cause i never thought i needed it.....those hard wood floors you're staring at, exist in my apartment,...i've always loved writing, and if it wasn't fashion it would have been writing, thus bringing us to the blogs......the blogs are the only personal thing you will have of me on this page....it's what goes on in between my ears, in my head.....i'm bitchin, complainin, and crying about numerous things, events, and situations...some are not my own, but instead ones which have affected me in some way or another....NEVER ASSUME YOU KNOW WHAT IS BEING BLOGGED ABOUT, and don't be so vain to think i'm talking about you...it's just me thinking out loud, for all the world to read.....STOP TAKING IT SOOO SERIOUSLY!!!.....i don't (and i'm not explainin' any of them either)
