I'm bored. I'm the chairman of the bored.

About Me

I like to breathe and eat and sleep and drink. Especially the breathing thing - that's fun.

I'm ¼ robot, ¼ insect and ½ ninja. That makes me 100% cool and twice as ¡caliente! Okay, so the fact that I like math jokes and work with computers marks me as a NERD³. I can't help it. That just how I was raised.

I've lived in SoCal all my life - at least all that I can remember. There were some blackout periods there, but unless they involved alien abduction and/or time travel, I'm pretty sure I've lived in SoCal all my life.

My Interests

I like the Lakers , Lakers , Lakers , and Lakers .

I'm always looking for good vacation spots. So if you know any, let me know.

I'd like to meet:

people. people who need people. (cue the music)

Music:

I usually listen to INDIE 103.1 . Listen Live .
I'm loving the new RHCP album.
Gomez, Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ima Robot, Morningwood, Cobra Starship ...

Movies:

So many bad movies, so little interest.
So let's step into the Wayback Machine.
All-time favorite movie: Lawrence of Arabia
Runners-up: Star Wars: EP5 & EP4
Favorite comedies: Office Space, Airplane, Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, Eddie Murphy: Delirious
Favorite action/sci-fi: Alien, Aliens, Terminator 2
Worst movies I ever saw in the theatre: Cyborg, Black Mask. I won't name names, but the people who picked these "films" are forever on my S* list when it comes to picking movies.

Hmmm. Thinking about going to see Snakes on a Plane. Could I be mistaken? Let's hope not. But I was brave enough to watch Revenge of the Sith.

Television:

I like a lot of shows, but there are only two that I can't miss - Battlestar Galactica and 24. Man, I miss Arrested Development.
I'm definitely a sci-fi/action fan.
I still need Tivo. Anybody got a spare?

Books:

More technical books than I care to think about. I thought I was done with studying after college. These books are so dry, my hands are chapped.

Reading is FUNdamental.

Heroes:

"Dance Like a Monkey" - New York Dolls

The second cut is the deepest

So I had my excision today. That is, the doctor removed the remainder of my mole. I got 5 stitches, a giant patch on my head, a prescription for antibiotics and hole in my wallet where $89.98 used to ...

Not-quite-panic attack

So, I got to the office and realized that I left my cell phone in my car. I wasn't worried because it's not like I get millions of calls. When I finally went to pick it up, I see 3 missed calls from a...

It's been almost 2 months since I've had any sushi.  And I'm not talking about the craphole around the corner that tries to pass off catfood as spicy tuna roll.  They've got some good bento ...
